Our COVID-19 Update

In light of the updated government guidance, we have reviewed our own guidelines to ensure we are able to deliver the best care to our patients whilst keeping our team members and clients as safe as possible.

The legal requirement for masks ends on 19th July. However, government advice remains “to continue wearing a facemask where you come into contact with people you don’t normally meet, in enclosed spaces”. In light of this, our team members will continue to wear masks and gloves at all times for your protection. As it is not possible to adequately ventilate the consulting rooms with open windows, we will continue to require clients to wear a face covering in the practice also.

If you are not able to wear a face covering, we will be happy to consult with you outside where ventilation and social distancing is more possible. We will also continue to offer telemedicine alternatives to face-to-face consultations for clients that are isolating. And for any client that would prefer not to enter the practice, we can continue to examine your pets with the help of our wonderful nurses whilst you wait in your car.

As ever, if you have any Covid-19 symptoms, or have been a close contact of a positive case, then please do not attend the practice. We will be able to advise over the phone how best to ensure your pet receives the care they need.

Checking-in

Please check in over the phone, or in person at the reception desk. You will then be asked to take a seat in your car until a member of the clinical team is ready to see you.

At the time of your appointment, you will be met by the Vet or Nurse and invited into the consulting room with your pet.

In order to maintain social distancing inside, we ask that wherever possible only one family member per pet.

Following your consultation, you will be directed back to reception to collect any medication/book any further appointments/arrange payment.

We remain committed to delivering the best possible care for your beloved pets in these unusual times, and want to thank our wonderful clients for your ongoing understanding and support.
